Vodafone has unveiled a new high speed USB modem that offers download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps. The device, called the ‘Stick’, is Vodafone’s smallest, slimmest USB modem to date.
As well as more than 7Mbps for downloads, the network claims customers will enjoy upload speeds of up to 1.44Mbps. The Stick is now available on Vodafone’s Mobile Broadband tariffs, which start from £25 per month, and the device itself will cost between £49 and £100, dependent on the contract.
Vodafone UK enterprise director Kyle Whitehill said: "Vodafone was the first to improve download speeds with HSDPA, the first to increase upload speeds with HSUPA, and now we're pushing the boundaries of usability even further with a groundbreaking compact design."
